A study on the patients status of temporomandibular disorders through the big data of National Health Insurance - with a focus on the changes in elderly patients

Abstract

|
This study was based on big data on health insurance payments from 2010 to 2015 published by the National Health Insurance Corporation. The author estimated the data on an annual basis by age and sex and compared the data in 2015 per 100,000 people. As a result, the number of patients with Temporomandibular Disorders increased 40.5 percent in 2015 from 2010. While the younger female population is the largest in terms of age, the number of elderly patients has increased compared to the past.
